Marlene Pratt, co-founder of Casa Latina, has more than a decade of interior design and architectural experience with a degree in design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is a renovation expert and an interior designer with extensive on-air media experience in both English and Spanish language television, print and radio. Marlene has regularly appeared as a Home Economist/Home Improvement Expert on Fox, CBS, WB’s WPIX-TV and WNBC. She also co-hosted The Fix It Line, a home improvement series that aired on Discovery Channel and appeared on a weekly home improvement/interior design segment on Telemundo NY. Marlene’s philosophy is that everyone’s home can look like a million bucks without actually spending the million bucks. She specializes in designing spaces that are safe, comfortable, and stylish. Spaces that are made for everyday life so that you may spend more time with your family and less time with your mop and bucket.

John Colaneri

John Colaneri, co-host of HGTV’s Kitchen Cousins with his cousin Anthony Carino, graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in labor and industrial relations with a minor in business management.

With most of his family involved in construction, it was natural for John to work as a laborer when he was home from college in the summers. He worked for his uncle’s company, Prismatic Development, where he was involved in many aspects of the construction process.

With John’s experience in construction, savvy business skills and an eagerness to learn, he was ready to devote his time to the family construction business, Brunelleschi Construction.

Vanessa’s popularity started when she was first featured on Design Star, where she gained recognition for her own unique style she coined as “Glamilistic,” a combination of glamour and streamline minimalism. Vanessa’s next venture was when she was featured on the first hit season of the Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible, a plethora of television appearances followed, HGTV, Generation Renovation, Designer’s Challenge, Bang for your Buck, Spaces TV, host and designer for “Your Place is a Deal Breaker”, New York, Pix 11, “Vanessa to the Rescue,” DIY network & HGTV “Rev Run Renovation”, BRAVO “Ice Loves Coco” and her most recent television appearance on NBC “American Dream Builders”
